Carl J. Janetka passed away peacefully on November 5, 2022 at the age of 87. He was born to Charles and Lillian (Sharkey) Janetka in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Louis Moffa in 1998, his brother, Robert (“Bobby”), in 2000, and his daughter, Kerry, in 2022.
A 1953 graduate of Upper Moreland High School, Carl was an exceptional student and athlete and excelled in several different sports. After high school, Carl attended Bloomsburg State Teachers College on a basketball scholarship, is where he met his future wife, Kathleen and from which he graduated in 1959. John D. Kehrel of Warrington, formerly of Oreland, died Feb. 4 at Abington Memorial Hospital after a six-year battle with cancer. He was 46.

Born in Sellersville, he was the son of Barbara Glessner Kehrel of Lower Gwynedd and the late Horst W. Kehrel. He was the husband of Linda Weiss Kehrel.

He was a graduate of Upper Dublin High School and Bloomsburg University. He was a certified public accountant with Kreischer, Miller and Co. of Horsham.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by three daughters, Kathleen, Anne and Megan, all still at home. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert in April 2000.

John E. Legg, 87, of Wayne Pennsylvania, passed away at home, Thursday, March 15, 2012. Devoted husband to Frances Legg, beloved father of Janice Legg, JoAnne Johns (David), and grandfather of Julia Grace Johns. Born in Philadelphia, Pa, in 1924, John was the son of Elsie and Leslie Earl Legg. He attended Tioga Presbyterian and later moved to Glenside Pa., graduating from Cheltenham High School in 1942. John entered the Armed Service February of 1943 as part of the 8th Air Force, 100th Bomb Group. He flew the B-17 overseas in the European Theater of WWII and was shot down over Berlin on May 24, 1944.

Leonard J.T. McBride, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was 93 years old. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Edmond and Frances (nee Wizner) McBride. Mr. McBride was a veteran of the US Army, serving his country during World War II.
