Dr. William Ritter - Upper Dublin Science Teacher
Dr. Ritter acted as principal after our graduation for a short while and then returned to teaching. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years later. He left a lasting impression on many of us.
Among the survivors of Dr. William R.M. Ritter, 51, of Maple Glen, Montgomery County, who died Friday in Abington Memorial Hospital, are his parents, Myron S.R. and Edna M. (Acker) Ritter of Ambler. Ritter was an educator for the Upper Dublin School System.

I was fortunate to have Dr. Ritter and his family as neighbors. He permitted, nay, encouraged, us all to engage in gardening, thereby giving us an appreciation for the environment.
